What you can do in ABRS online

More services will be added as they become available. For now, you can:

• apply for a director ID
• check your director ID number and status, including the date it was issued
• view ‘Things to do’, ‘Actions in progress’ and ‘Past activity’
• edit your personal details (excluding your name and date of birth)
• change your profile preferences
• submit feedback about your experience.

How to log in

Our services use the Australian Government Digital ID System to verify your ID.

To access ABRS online, you will need:

• a smart device
• a Digital ID, such as myID with at least a Standard identity strength.

myID is the Australian Government’s Digital ID provider. It is an app you download to your smart device and use to prove who you are when accessing government online services.

Steps

1. Select the Login button at the top right on the home page.
2. Choose a Digital ID provider (such as myID).
3. Provide consent for your information to be shared with the online service.
4. To streamline future logins, you can elect the checkbox to save your choice and consent.
5. Enter your myID email address - this is the email address used when you set up your myID.
6. A 4-digit code will appear in your browser.
7. Enter this code in your myID app.
8. Return to your web browser.
